Long-acting GHRH analogue that sustains elevated GH levels for days per injection.
DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) technology allows CJC-1295 to bind to albumin in the bloodstream, dramatically extending its half-life. Stimulates GHRH receptors in the pituitary for sustained GH secretion over multiple days.
The DAC version is distinct from CJC-1295 no DAC (Mod GRF 1-29). The extended half-life means once-weekly dosing is sufficient. May cause GH bleed — a slow continuous rise rather than pulsatile release.
Some researchers prefer the no-DAC version for its more natural pulsatile GH release pattern. The DAC version's continuous elevation may not mimic the body's natural GH rhythm as closely.
