Selective GH secretagogue — stimulates pulsatile GH release with minimal side effects.
Mimics ghrelin and binds to GH secretagogue receptors (GHSR) in the pituitary, stimulating pulsatile GH release. More selective than GHRP-2 or GHRP-6 — does not significantly raise cortisol or prolactin.
Considered the cleanest GHRP due to its selectivity. Unlike other GH secretagogues, Ipamorelin does not significantly raise cortisol or prolactin, making it more favorable for extended research protocols.
Often stacked with CJC-1295 or Sermorelin for amplified GH pulses. The combination of a GHRH analogue + GHRP produces synergistically larger GH pulses than either alone. Timing around sleep is common in protocols.
